Benson Maingi's post on Goodwall - #MyTake is that deforestation remains to be a big problem in Kenya especially Eastern part of the country despite national government's laws and policies prohibiting the same. Due to this, a founded a youth group from my community to plant trees through a project dubbed, " Greening Project". We also do community engagement, sensitization on the importance of afforestation. Social media advocacy is also part of our doings.
