Daudaxman Gurung's post on Goodwall - It was the time, while i studied +2 level, I had got chance for trekking at first time. I was so happy and excited for that trek because it was my first trek long and far from home with clients. It was the month of April, My clients were family and guide was my brother and i was Porter. We began our journey from Kathmandu to Beni ghat by jeep. The 2nd day also travelled through jeep to Larjunga. I couldn't sleep well because of my first experience out far from home and eagerness of long Trekking. I was very curious about new places, new people and new experiences. I got little information about that place in day so that next early in the morning i woke up at quarter to 5, then went outside alone for more than a hours, it was a great experience i had. About a hour i arrived at hotel unfortunately from that moment begun to rained. I thought we shall stay there but it didn't happen. We begun our trek even though light raining as well cold weather. I thought the guests and other staffs had felt unpleasant but i was enjoying from the heart. From the afternoon sun shone and the weather was cleared and we reached camp at Marpha(2650 meter) village. We visited there a monastery rest time. The next day we started trek after breakfast throughout Dhumba lake(2830 meter) to Jomsom(2743 m). I have carried approximately 20 kg luggage. In entire trek we just have walked maximum 2/3 hours per day because our guest was family and there was one 11, boy. As the same, after breakfast at Jomsom we begun our trek and being made a lot of fun on the way to Kagbeni(2804 m). We had spent a day, having visited many interesting places there. A next day, we made toward our final destination to Muktinath(3710 m). On the way my brother and me took some pictures and unfortunately, my pant had been torn when i jumped from the wall for shoot. It was so funny, and our female clients saw it then they laughed and rest of the way i took off my pant and wore only under half pant. Finally we reached our destination, according to program we would spent a day there so i had made plan to visit to thorong la base camp(4540 m) from there in the early morning. I didn't know the way to base camp but due to my eagerness i had collected information from guide. When i told him i would like to visit base camp he had been laughed at me. But i believed myself and determined my thought so, a next day early in the morning moved my steps towards the base camp in dusk. I felt mixture of fear and excitement. Somehow i thought myself it was the great stupidity because i didn't know the way to base camp and i had only clue and the top view of Mountain direction. On the way i encountered many things such as suspension bridge, animals etc. But Finally i meet my destination after jogging one and half hour. I had spoken inside myself because there was no one appeared. I knew that my brother didn't believe my words that's why i brought a piece of freeze ice in my cap from base camp. He had starred at me with open mouth. In a day we had visited the temple and monasteries there. I was being sad because it was last destination for us after the day our journey was close to end. A next day we returned from there as same route to Kagbeni. I felt a little sad every step of mine by thinking of the separation of the clients. Because we had a lot of joy in every day of during trek with clients. The boy was smiling at every moment of us. Lastly we separated from Pokhara and i was a bit upset we already farewell to clients. Fortunately i got chance to met them at Kathmandu but forgot to asked email address. So the first trek experience was unforgettable for me. #myfirstexperienceoftrekasaporter
