Here is our list of global companies still hiring despite the COVID-19 pandemic:
1. Amazon (& Whole Foods)
Amazon recently announced that they’re opening up the hiring process to fill 100,000 new positions to meet a surge in demand in online shopping. Also, if you live in the United States, their Amazon Delivers branch can get you a job with a starting pay of $17 or more in as little as 7 days!
2. Google
Google (now known as Alphabet) has thousands upon thousands of jobs all around the world, and they’re still hiring despite the COVID-19 crisis. They have availability in marketing and communications, business strategy, legal, facilities, design, finance, people operations, and more. For high school and college students, their internship program still exists during coronavirus, it’s just been moved online.

3. Microsoft
As one of the very rare purple platypus companies (or whatever you call companies valued over $1 trillion), Microsoft is sure to have the job you want, where you want it to be. With greater than 6,500 job options available on their website, they’ve got something for everyone.
4. Apple
Cupertino-based Apple is another one of the great tech companies. As a company founded by Jobs (a pun!), they have plenty. They might have shut down almost all their retail stores around the world, but they’re still hiring otherwise, with employment available in Hong Kong, Austria, the UAE, and other countries.
